NHS Cost Improvement Planning

BWA supported a 'big-four' consultancy in 14 NHS healthcare cost reduction projects (Cost Improvement Planning). Our work involved using benchmarking techniques to determine the value for money characteristics of key services within facilities management and estates management. The benchmarking approach focussed on the drivers of cost which effectively determined where there was room for efficiency improvements. Across the 14 organisations, the work identified over £20m in estates and FM savings which were delivered through cost improvement plans.
