BWA supported PricewaterhouseCoopers in a review the Local Authority Client's ‘soft’ facilities management organisation (delivering services such as cleaning, security, reception, catering and even public markets), its strategy, policy and processes. A benchmarking methodology was employed to support qualitative findings derived from interviews with facilities management staff and their key customers, such as Children’s Directorate and Information Technology department. The work led to the development of a staged implementation (structure blueprint) plan designed to help the Council migrate from the current organisation design to an integrated solution where Property and Facilities Management functions become one.
