Project Details: Refurbishment and fitting out of two shop units at Queens Market, Newham for use as the market offices & wheelchair accessible toilets. This was required to relocate and improve upon the existing managers accommodation and to replace market toilets with modern conveniences.
The manager’s offices comprised a main office, private office, meeting room, server room, kitchen, wheelchair accessible toilets, shower room and locker room.
Two public toilets were constructed on the market side for the public and market traders. Each toilet was designed to be to be unattended, fully accessible DDA compliant, vandal resistant with automatic lighting and locking, DDA Radar key entry and coin operated entry.
The works took 4 months to complete and cost circa £420,000.
