Project Details: A new build visitor centre providing a new gallery, foyer, shop and restaurant for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Constructed from layered, pigmented concrete to form the Gallery, and Douglas Fir timber frame glazed space to form the restaurant. The internal space is naturally ventilated featuring a pioneering low-energy control system using a passive humidity buffer. The project was a finalist at the RIBA Stirling Prize 2019.
